CIOTA - Associate Membership Criteria

CRITERIA FOR ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP ENROLMENT

Eligibility Requirements:

Associate Member:

Applicants to this grade shall satisfy the following condition: Associate Members shall be holders of an accredited Degree or equivalent qualification in Transportation or Transport related course obtained from any recognised Institution in the Federation or abroad and who shall satisfy all the conditions for admission to Associate.

Academic Qualifications:

Applicants must be a Graduate who have successfully passed the professional Level Three qualifying examination conducted by the Institute or hold equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions of higher education.

Applicants must be deemed fit and proper individuals by the Council.

Professional Experience:

Applicant must be transport practitioner age 30 years and above.

The should have at least five years consecutive service in transport or transport related industry, or armed forces or institution of learning at a middle level category.

the council must find the applicant to be fit and proper person.

Exclusions:

Applicants with a maximum of 10 years of work experience in transport, logistics, or other related fields in-respective of course of study will be considered for the Associate category and qualify for written and oral examination.
