Criteria for Student Membership

Eligibility Requirements:

Examination Registration

Applicants must be registered for the CIoTA Professional Qualifying Examination scheme or registered as a Student undergoing study in transport, logistics or transport related programs.

Academic Qualifications

Applicants should have a minimum of five (5) credits in the SSCE, NECO, or GCE, O'Level examinations, including English Language and Mathematics or their equivalents.

Undergraduate Status

Students currently enrolled in a course of study in transport studies at tertiary institutions in Nigeria or abroad are eligible for students' membership.

⚠️ Important Notice

All students registered for recognized training schemes in transport studies shall become professional members only after passing the prescribed examinations as approved by the Council or the Institute's by-laws.
